April – Month of Photography Los Angeles (MOPLA)

The Lucie Foundation presents the 2nd annual celebration of MOPLA, and in honor of a 160 years since the incorporation of Los Angeles, back in April 4, 1850 MOPLA will be showcasing 160 photographers through out the city. MOPLA was started back in April 2009 by Hossain Farmani and Cat Jimenez, in hopes to unite the Photography Community within Los Angeles. With a string of gallery participants this month, the official opening reception will be at Pro’jekt LA on Saturday, April 3rd at Bergamot Station.
For tonight’s event beginning with The Fahey/Klein Gallery, Legends of Jazz. Every Tuesday, starting April 6th through April 27th, Space 15 Twenty located in Hollywood, California, will host weekly, curated projections as soon as the sun sets.
